I’m Maggie. As a sober coach, I work closely with individuals to assist them with their recovery by setting goals, offering sober support, and providing accountability. I am able to combine my personal, professional, and educational experience in the mental health and substance abuse field to encourage you to build a healthy foundation in your recovery process.
In 2014, I began my journey in recovery by taking the step to seek professional help for my addiction. Throughout my time in treatment, and the work I put in afterwards, I was given the tools necessary to live a sober, healthy and peaceful life.
I quickly learned that my calling was to help others the way I had been so graciously helped. I started off in the field as a resident assistant at a women’s sober living home, followed by working as a peer support specialist for a community mental health center for youth and young adults with mental health and/or substance abuse struggles. My most recent experience has been supporting others with addiction or mental health diagnoses as a clinical care manager under an interventionist, and connecting people with resources for counseling and medication management as an intake coordinator.
The early stages of recovery can be overwhelming, intimidating and difficult to navigate, but my goal is to collaborate with you and to offer personalized support so that you can be the best version of you!
